Happy Holidays! Wishing all of you a very happy and healthy holiday season! We hope you are able to stay active during the break, drink lots of water, and try to incorporate healthy fruits and vegetables into holiday meals and treats. Don't forget to log your child's miles in the Marathon Kids tracking site over the break! See you in 2022!

If you pre-ordered our new Spirit Wear, we anticipate distributing the shirts during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up on Friday, December 17th. We will send an email to those that ordered shirts with additional details.

Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues youth small and large sizes will not be available until January.  

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Winter Wonderland and the Book Fair.  While both events were a little different than previous years, it was so nice to gather in person to celebrate the season and support the Library.

Thank you also to ALL the volunteers who made these events happen.  Whether it was making decorations, set-up, working a cash register, or helping our guests with a holiday craft, we couldn't do it without you!

'Tis the season for holiday baking! Pull out your best cookie recipe and bake a few dozen for our teachers and staff to enjoy. If you would like to participate, please sign-up to bring 3 dozen cookies delivered to the school on Tuesday December 14th (all day) or on Wednesday, December 15th by 9am.    

Please pack cookies as follows: 

• Three cookies per sealed bag (it can be a ziploc baggie or festive holiday baggie with a twist tie). This will allow each teacher to select a few different types of cookies to build their bag of assorted cookies to take home. 
• Please plan to drop off your cookies in a disposable container/tray, as we will not be able to return them. 
• Lastly, please label your cookies (including any possible allergen ingredients), and feel free to include your family's name so teachers can see all who took the time to send in the home-baked holiday cheer! Thank you for helping us spread joy to our Baldwin teachers and staff!

The 2021-2022 Baldwin Scholarship is here! The Baldwin Elementary PTA seeks to recognize former Baldwin students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to education and their community. Each year, three (3) recipients are awarded a $500 scholarship for post-high school educational opportunities. All graduating seniors who attended Baldwin are welcome to apply. The deadline for scholarship submissions is January 28, 2022.

Everyone has to grocery shop!  Why not support Baldwin PTA when you do your shopping?  By enrolling in our HEB Gift Card Program, you can turn your shopping dollars into money for our school - at no expense to you!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

• Sign up to buy HEB $100 gift card(s) on a monthly basis.

• Give the PTA $100 (or more!)

• We give you a $100 HEB card(s). 

• Cards are like cash, valid for 3 years

• Cards can be used at any HEB, Central Market & Central Market Café.

• Great news!  You can now use your HEB Gift Cards for Curbside or Home Delivery on the www.heb.com website.  Other third-party delivery services are not eligible to be paid for with HEB Gift Cards.

Just one $100 card per month is like writing Baldwin PTA a check for $60/year-except HEB is donating to the school on your behalf!  The more people that participate, the more money for Baldwin!  You don't have to be a Baldwin parent.  Grandparents, aunts & uncles, neighbors can join the program.  Help us spread the word!

Enroll before January 10th, and you will receive your first set of cards in early February.
