Meet our new PTA President!

Let's give a big welcome to Kristen Hudgens as the new 2022-2023 PTA President!

Kristen has 2 sons; a Baldwin 2nd grader and a Kealing 6th grader. This is her 7th year as a Baldwin parent and first year as PTA President.

Do you have an interest in joining the Baldwin PTA? We need a few more key players to make it the best year yet! The role doesn't have to be held alone, you can even share it with a friend or two! Check out some of our openings:

Reflections Committee

What is reflections? Reflections (a national PTA program) has encouraged millions of students to express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts. This role sounds fancy, but there is already a lead! You would help Taylor Berman with this role, plus she is super fun, so it's really easy!

Historian

The Historian attends the board meetings and records the volunteer hours at all meetings and PTA events, using a tool such as a tally sheet or excel spreadsheet. Anyone can do this and it only consists of a few hours each month, if that!

Fundraising Committee

Do you love to network and are friendly to everyone? Then this role is for you! We need one, two or even three additional helpers to make our Baldwin Bobcat PTA community thrive and well-funded!

Bueller!?! Bueller?!!

Can't commit to one single role, have too much to do or too much on your plate? Just drop us a line and when we need some help or you have time, we can reach out. And trust us, we will be so thankful!

Welcome back Baldwin Bobcat families! As we start this new school year it is important to start the school day with 2 key reminders:

Ensure your child eats a healthy breakfast:
A good breakfast is an important part of giving your child a successful day because food is fuel for the brain. A healthy breakfast can lead to improved academic achievement and better listening skills throughout the day. Protein, fruits, and whole grains are all good choices for a healthy breakfast!

Make sure your child gets enough sleep:
Good sleep is essential to good health, including mental health, academic achievement, and a healthy immune system. Try to ensure your child gets 9-12 hours of sleep a night.

Love Your School is a no-hassle, school fundraiser taking place over the next few weeks. It is a fundraiser where 100% of your donation goes directly to school needs. All you need to do is visit our online store, click the family benefactor link and make a donation. Thank you for your support!!

Makerspace Items Needed

The library is still in need of maker space items. Specifically tooth picks, decks of cards, shoe boxes, cereal boxes, and rubber bands. Ice Cream Social - 9/18

On 9/18 from 2 - 4 pm, please join us for a fun event to get to know other Baldwin families!! Come for a scavenger hunt around campus and then stay and socialize with your fellow Bobcats on the playground. Ice cream from Conner's Creamery ice cream truck will be available for purchase.

Get the dads, granddads or father figures in your life to post their best (clean and appropriate) dad jokes on the Baldwin PTA Page every Friday!

We will pick the top 3 jokes (by number of likes) each month for a prize.

Be on the lookout for Dad Jokes and make sure to "like" your favorites, as we will pick 3 winners each month based on the number of likes!

Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat - 10/29
