How Do I Get to Know Gorzycki Middle School?

Gorzycki Middle School PTA has many opportunities for parents & community members to get involved & feel connected to the school.  Here are some things you need to know: 

• We offer several programs each year (often in conjunction with our General Membership Meetings) with topics relevant to students & families.

• We have an easy volunteer opportunity that runs year-round through the school year called "Tiger Team." This role puts volunteers in the cafeteria to connect with the students.  
• We offer the opportunity for students to participate in the National PTA Reflections competition.
• We host monthly luncheons & events that support teachers & staff. We ask for volunteers & donations to support these efforts. 
• We host a 6th-grade social & a school-wide fun day.  
• We raise money to support special projects for staff & GMS families. Community businesses, parents, grandparents, and teachers donate to the PTA & the money flows back out to ensure that "every child's potential is a reality."

Support Baldwin by placing a Mobile Order for Spirit Night at the Chick- Fil-A (South Mopac and 290 W) on Tuesday February 28th from 5-9 PM. Please include "Spirit Night" in the special-order instructions when placing your mobile order. 

Give yourself a treat after school and purchase a snow cone from Kona Ice! Don't forget your reusable cup. The truck will be parked along Meridian Park Blvd directly across from the school.
