We are so impressed with everything our amazing volunteers did for our Balwin Beautification Day!  The campus is beautiful!  Thank you to everyone who was able to come and help. We could not have done it without you!  A special thank you to the Ward Family for coming in with the heavy equipment!  

How Do I Get to Know Gorzycki Middle School?

Gorzycki Middle School PTA has many opportunities for parents & community members to get involved & feel connected to the school.  Here are some things you need to know: 

• We offer several programs each year (often in conjunction with our General Membership Meetings) with topics relevant to students & families.

• We have an easy volunteer opportunity that runs year-round through the school year called "Tiger Team." This role puts volunteers in the cafeteria to connect with the students.  
• We offer the opportunity for students to participate in the National PTA Reflections competition.
• We host monthly luncheons & events that support teachers & staff. We ask for volunteers & donations to support these efforts. 
• We host a 6th-grade social & a school-wide fun day.  
• We raise money to support special projects for staff & GMS families. Community businesses, parents, grandparents, and teachers donate to the PTA & the money flows back out to ensure that "every child's potential is a reality."

Reminder that Spring Break is March 13 - 17! Enjoy the weather and your week off school! 

Plan to have dinner at Vista Grill and dine on some delicious food! Explore the 21 acres of this Baldwin family-owned ranch with a playground, walking trails, and an apiary. See you there!

Give yourself a treat after school and purchase a snow cone from Kona Ice! Don't forget your reusable cup. The truck will be parked along Meridian Park Blvd directly across from the school.

Yearbook Reminders: April 9th is the deadline to submit your 5th grade Yearbook Dedications and April 14th is the deadline to order your 2022/2023 yearbook! Email yearbook@balwdinpta.org with any questions.
