I hope you all had a wonderful summer. If you’re new to Baldwin, please know that we are so happy to have you! This is my first year as PTA President, and I am honored to serve our school community.
The mission of the PTA is to make the lives of families better, through engagement and collaboration with our school community. I encourage each and every one of you to become a part of our team. Our PTA isn’t just for caregivers, we welcome all members of our community, including grandparents. One reason to join the PTA is that it benefits our school community financially. When you join, you don’t have to volunteer, but you will be able to vote at meetings, and we can use your fee to fund our school.
The PTA funds:
A copier rental for the teacher workroom
Teacher Reimbursement: $150/teacher
$1,000 for the library
Great Leaps
$550 for PE Equipment
$1,5000 for the Snack Closet
BLAST and DRA Kits for the Classroom
Science Tools for the Classroom
Professional Development for our Teachers
Computer Software for our Campus
And Much More!
When you join the PTA, you tell your children that you are an integral part of their education, which you are! If you are able to volunteer, you’ll be donating your talents, and I promise, you’ll feel like you are part of our community. When you attend meetings you’ll have a voice in the process, and you’ll get to see what we’re doing to help our school.
