Hello Bobcats!
Since COVID, PTA leaders have been striving to increase membership and engagement to the levels that they were before the pandemic. Our membership numbers have returned, however, we're still feeling the strain of relatively low engagement in terms of volunteers. We know we ask for volunteers all the time, we get it, but that's because our PTA does so much for the school, we need the help in order to keep all those things going.
We have wonderful leaders for each team, you don't have to be in charge of anything, we just need people to show up and give us a hand. I understand that volunteering isn't for everyone, but I encourage you to give it a chance, it's a great way to build community and feel like you are known. Please consider giving us just 1 hour of time this year, to serve our faculty, staff, and children. You can absolutely give that hour as a family.
If you have any hesitation, trepidation, or questions, please reach out to me and I'll hopefully allay your fears. I want everyone to feel like they have a voice, and a stake, in our PTA. Because you do. Thank you!
