Baldwin Elementary PTA Fall Membership Drive! 

Check out how the tree in the foyer is coming along!

We're 96% of the way to our goal.

Only a few more days left to participate in the Fall Membership Drive, so let's keep those PTA memberships coming!

 Each child whose parent joins/renews will get to add a leaf to our tree in the foyer.

The class with the most members in each grade will win a popcorn party!

Teachers of the winning classes will be entered into a raffle to win a special prize. 

NEW! We added another raffle for all teachers who are PTA members

Volunteering isn't required with membership, but we welcome any time or talents you can share. If you have already joined, THANK YOU!

Our teachers do so much for our kids—let’s show them some love by keeping the Teacher Lounge stocked with snacks and drinks! We’ve set up a SignUpGenius with suggested items.

Ideas to bring (think mostly healthy, with a few treats):

• Protein bars, granola bars, trail mix

• Sparkling water, bottled water, iced tea, coffee pods, protein shakes

• Dark chocolate, small candy packs, popcorn, pretzels

• Paper goods: napkins, plates, cutlery, cups

Drop-off details:

• Please label items “Stock the Lounge”

• Non-perishables can be sent with your student any day between now and Sept 30th

Hey Dads! Has your kiddo already asked you when you are gonna be a Watch DOG this year? With over 50 actives members in the Baldwin Elementary Watch DOGS program, we’d love for new dads to come join! 

The Dads of Great Students WATCH D.O.G.S.® program is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations designed and developed by educators, experts and parent & guardian volunteers over more than two decades.

2) Background check via the AISD Volunteer page. Set up your account and follow the steps for the background check: link here 

3) Join PTA

4) Order WDs T-shirt (unless you already have one)

5) WDs Training (Sept 24, 6:30 ZOOM)

6) Pick a day to volunteer on the calendar in the front office

7) Wear WDs T-shirt and check in at the front office at 7:15 to pick up agenda

We have begun planning for our annunal Multi-Culture Fest and are looking for Culture Representatives!  Please see the flyer for more info.

Do you have a fifth grader attending Gorzycki Middle next year? Current fifth grade students and their famiy are eligible to travel with Gorzycki Middle students on their 2027 international trip.

Each year, GMS students go on international adventure in partnership with the school and EF Tours, their trusted travel partner with over 60 years of international student travel experience.  In 2027, they will be traveling to the Capitals of the British Isles and current 5th graders will be able to join the trip.
