Great Leaps is a fluency-building reading program, "staffed" by parent volunteers. Parents are trained as tutors and commit to one day per week for about 30-45 minutes. 

A tutor takes one student at a time into the learning area and reads with them for 3 minutes. Just 3 minutes can significantly increase reading skills and fluency.

This is a volunteer opportunity that really counts! You will truly see the benefits for both your child and all our 1st grade Bobcats and have an amazing opportunity to observe our students make “great leaps” in reading.

Our Reflections Program is a great way for your kids to express their creative side! This year's theme is "Accepting Imperfection." Click the image for more info.  

This is the last week to bring stuff for the teacher lounge. Each month we support our faculty and staff with appreciation events. In August we had a Welcome Back Breakfast of tacos and coffee. We had such an amazing turnout at our Scavenger Hunt Ice Cream Social! Our VP of Programs, Autumn Kippes did an amazing job of putting it all together. These programs are paid for with YOUR membership and financial support, so THANK YOU. If you took great pictures, look out for info on submitting them for the 5th Grade Slideshow and Yearbook, coming next week in the ROAR.  

At our events we have ice chests full of free beverages; that's because ya'll stock the drink pantry at the beginning of the year. Please donate and then enjoy!

For the most part we have a lead person for nearly everything we do as a PTA, which is just incredible.If you don't want to be in charge of anything, but just want to help, we NEED you.
