Miss Hassett has requested $700.00 to attend the Council for Exceptional Children Conference 2024.  This conference is held in March 2024.

CEC 2024 is a convention focused on best inclusion practices and outcomes for special education students. The CEC has research-based, cutting edge approaches for admin to support special education students and ensure equitable outcomes. Miss Hassett also hopes to attend the Workshop Titled, What's Important in Mathematics at Tier 2 and 3 as this is a growth area for our campus.

She hopes to share the tools, strategies, and knowledge from this convention with the admin, SPED team, and grade level teams through PLCs.

Students will benefit as admin and SPED will be updated with new tools, strategies, and best practices to ensure that all students are successful, regardless of labels. With the additional half day workshop about mathematics instruction in tier 2 and 3, she will help bring back knowledge to our campus, shared through PLCs, to help boost out math instruction. Math instruction continues to be a growth area for our campus as well as district.
